Consequences of Normal: Sensitizing Future Marketers to Images of Gender-Based Violence

Eric Krszjzaniek, 2019

As a University of Wyoming instructor, Eric has always been passionate about engaging young adults in thoughtful exploration. While participating in the SAFE Men program, Eric’s continued passion collided with his growing love of gender-based violence work. He put into motion plans to bring this work into his classrooms. Eric developed a curriculum introducing University of Wyoming students to gender and marketing while discussing how the status quo of gendered advertising perpetuated gender-based violence.
